This is a lot of fun to play with. I want a tone square and a mixer, really really bad. I wonder how much it costs to start to set yourself up with this kind of thing for real.

You’ve got to wonder, though - when this kind of thing is available, and any plebe like me can start futzing around with emulated equipment in a flash animation in a web browser, and then record it and post Youtube videos, does this mean that electronic music is over? That it’s going to become so hard to separate the pearls from the chaff that we’re all going to go defeatedly back to two-guitar jangle pop?
